Any news about jailbreak for this as i was hoping to jailbreak mine today and install ultrasnow on Friday?

Shouldnt bee too long hopefully im waiting till its released before i update to 3.0. They had the betas of 3.0 jailbreak so it should be a matter of days at the most, cant wait for mms and video recording as native apps

lol the dev team said Ultrasnow would be out on Friday with the release of iPhone 3GS! The jailbreak method should be available very soon according to dev team!

Worked for me... Redsn0w first to jailbreak it after i had updated to 3.0 firmware and then used ultrasnow to unlock.

Pretty idiot proof i must say. works well, tested and working on a tmobile.three and obviously o2 sims/

i've never tried icy so this is the cydia method

start cydia > go to manage > go to sources > click Edit (top right) > click Add (top left) > you will get an input box > put in the repo link > click add source > it will verify > then click done > then click the new repo > download+install ultrasn0w
