Feedback Score: 0 reviews | Re: virgin vpn issues VM dont support a lot of things but thats not the same as saying they actively stop them occuring ! VPN's work fine on VM. They always have done and most likely always will as there's no reason for VM to block them. They are as legitimate as any other internet traffic even for home users. Many non-business people use vpn's for various reasons. Afaik, VM only block a couple of ports which are (mis)used by Windows for various things and could potentially allow hackers into your system. By common agreement, most ISP's now block these ports but no normal internet applications should ever use these anyway. Your problem is almost certainly some kind of setup problem. Initially i'd try and connect without the router to illiminate that as the problem. It is possible that the vpn server has, for some reason, blocked the VM range of IP addresses. VM customers are notorious on the internet for having systems virus infected and being spam relays ! |
