hey guys
ive got an nc10 netbook, great bit of kit, but i want to format it. ive got a usb stick, and obv i have to install this way as the system doesnt have a dvd drive. is there a specific version of xp i need?? and how do io make it book off the stick. also i was wondering if anyone knows anywhere i can cheaply update the memory on it to a 2gb, or 4gb if it can take it?
cheers in advance guys

Done it with an acer aspire, should be no difference for an nc10.

There's a forum or a [ame="http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=2Vt_8p0VllY"]video[/ame] explaining how, simply copying setup disc to USB stick will not work.

U dont need special version of xp mate.. bestly u could use a external dvd drive, but if u still want to do it through usb stick and seeing it is an netbook, use a lite version of xp ( stripped with nlite) to reduce the resource load on the netbook.

Here is a tut to install from usb drive:
Roderick van Domburg’s Cache Installing Windows XP from USB

hoping this helps
