If i print in black only document every 30mm there is a 2mm gap in the printing.So if i printed a page with words on it the gap may cut through the sentence line and print only the top/bottom half of the words.The gaps are always in the same place.But if i change one word in that sentence that normally has the gap to ie: to red it will print it normal with no gap even though the rest of the sentence is in black.If the next 30mm is a black only line it will have the 2mm gap.
I've changed ink done the nozzle clean lots of times but its still the same

mmm not sure but i would check the leads try a new lead if you have one,make sure you do not have anything plug in on any usb ports part from the printer,,,,do not use a usb hub

have you check and made sure you have upto date drivers ?

only other thing i can come up with is trying it on a mate pc and see if it work ok on that

can you print a test page and is that ok or not ?

I dont know if you have used this but try the Epson print utility tool. When installed just right click on the icon in taskbar and choose power clean. It is basically a very powerful cleaning system, you may have to run it a couple of times.

I've just tried it on my laptop same thing and a new lead,also tried that link for the util but it doesnt support my printer.
I dont think it's blocked because it prints fine if part of the line is colour and the rest is black
