It maybe a bit of a pipe dream but I do fancy building my own boat, nothing fancy (well not yet), I have seen some plans on the web for small boats that could fit on the rack of the car and allow for some fun on the water.

Has any one tried to build there own?

Just a though...while you're in the mood for building a boat, how about going one further & building a hovercraft?

There are plenty of resources on the net to help you.

there was a poster a few weeks back who wanted to fix a boat or something i think. Maybe they'd be some help to you. Will try and find out who it was..
