Right guys got a task where i need to create a webiste in html using a text editor to do it however i wanted to do it in dreamweaver as its quicker lol! However if my lecturer finds out i get less marks this way is it possible to do it in dreamweaver and copy html code into notepad and not be able to tell it has been done in dreamweaver?

Basically i want to do it quickly as i ain't got long left so would this method work please peeps?

Yes, just remove the headers any any formation you dont want.

Last minute Charlie!

Mairy is right. Make sure you go through each line with a fine toothcomb to make sure their are no special tags automatically inserted.

You could paste it line by line into notepad after you have made it, to make sure of this.

thats brilliant anyone know how to create frames in dreamweaver?

As stated, DreamWeaver tags itself as the editor in a META tag. Delete this tag, and do a quick search within the text for any other instances (don't forget any external style sheets).

I'd avoid frames unless they're mandated by the lecturer. However, here is some advice on frames from the horse's mouth:

CS3: Dreamweaver CS3
CS4: Adobe Dreamweaver CS4 * Using Frames

why dont u just get a tutorial on how to make basic frame website using plain HTMl

and then open that site in dreamweaver and do whatever else you need and then remove the tags?

Tell your lecturer frames are frowned upon these days because of discrimination against the disabled. The disabled web user often have trouble with frames in websites, because it makes navigation particularly difficult...

I've seen this mentioned elsewhere, but do a Google to confirm, and then tell your lecturer to get with times, dude...
