Looking for help for a neighbour, he has burned his disks, but they fail to play on his Pacific DVD-1002 player.

I've tried them on all my players and they work fine, any ideas much appreciated.

Is it region locked. If so you need to unlock it.

PACIFIC DVD1002

On the remote control press the following.
Press Open/Close (So tray is open and remains open)
Press Clear
Press 1
Press 3
Press 6
Press 9
Press 0
(This last digit denotes region code 0 = Region Free. To switch back to region 2 exchange the 0 for 2)
Press Open/Close (So Tray Closes)
