New Sky Card?

there has been a couple of post on one of the c/s forums and there is by the look of it a bit of a flaw not much being said as its they have still not done a full roll out yet but im sure this will be fixed as im sure more cards are needed to test this on

yep been reading over on one of the c/s forums for the past couple of days and its looking good can you let us know what way you have it set up hehe its good when you see stuff like this also m8 have you had some one log in from out side your network see what way its working

from reading on another forum it now looks like you can put your boxkey in as did before to newcs and it will work on a paired card so for anyone that has the white card and has paired it to the sat receiver you only have to converter you serial number in a hex converter and all should be ok for now but as said a serial programer is needed as well

from what a couple of people have said this programmer they talk abut is alot better trying to get the circuit digram for it,was also talking to some one to day and they said it could be made again with the likes of a socket to change the crystal when you need to even if you want it that way

Just completely failed to get a card swap log in my Sky+. Program stopped spitting out data after I pulled my old card and didn't resume when I put the new one in. Since the swap the logger has been behaving oddly and the new card data seems currupt. I've had a look at the clock to the card with a scope and it seems in the 4.5MHz region which IIRC it ought to be, and had a look at the data and the bits seem to be in the just sub 50kbit region which IIRC they should be. Has anyone else tried logging, is my logger duff or obsolete?

ive now got this running smoothly

i managed to get newcs 1.66 into a box and fool it into starting up instead of 1.65 along with mgcamd, the card is in a standard definition receiver (a technomate tm600) and working with a TM6800, a TM6900 and a DM800 for HD and as well as the TM600 its also running a TM500, DM600 and another DM500 for nearly 24 hours

the card isnt even getting warm, running at 3.57Mhz, and all receivers/channels are glitch free
