buying a dm 500c advice - Digital World Cable Satellite Console Forum

Hi guys i have been on to DVB Monkey website and the dreambox 500c is £56 + postage,what i want to know are they cosha or dodgy it says they ship them directly from china. Anybody had dealings with them??

Dont quote me mate, but ive heard that the units from china are clones, but like i say i dont know first hand.

they're all clones nowadays - doesn't make much difference.

you'll wait a good few weeks but it should still come.

both my mates have bought dm 500 from there and both arrived within 3 weeks and are fine, I also have a clone and works fine.

If a clone works ok from the start, chances are it will be ok , the tuners dont be fantastic, i bought 2 clone 500's recently, both faulty , one had a load of solder shorts all over the board, It is definatly worth paying a little more money for better quality tho

Personally I ordered mine from them nearly 2 months ago (31st Jan), they were sent from China and actually reached as far as Sheffield but where then sent back to Shanghai. They stopped replying to my emails and I have been waiting for a dispute with Paypal to go through ever since.

Think someone in that thread mentioned the below site which worked out about the same price. I dont know what these are like either though so dont take my word for it !!!

i have brought loads 100+ from bubblecableboxs they are fantastic never had a prob and they are very cheap and fast delivery mind you i havnt used them for about 4 months now as every 1 has got boxes now lol but im sure they are as good as eva safe wattsy take a look at there b grade boxes very cheap

Dobnt buy from DVBmonkey, many people complaining about waiting 3-8weeks on delivery from them if at all.
