In Glasgow.

Looking for recommended company thats easy on wallet.

4 upvc windows and upvc door.

Anyone recommend a decent company thats not gonna charge the earth for this and who have done a good job for you ?

ha ha... nice...... it was the first one i went to... but quote from them yesterday and it was £5300 which seemed a wee bit pricey for ma liking...

When I got my flat done a number of years ago I'm sure I used Southside windows, but I think the guys that ran it then have since opened under their own name.

At the time they were half the price of the big boys, who wanted 7500 for 9 windows, they did it for just over 3500, but as I say it was a number of years ago

Just had first quote and had weatherseal out the night, they quoted £3000 for just four windows. no door.... initially quoted £6000+.... but then the discounts and the obligatory call to the boss brought it down to the take it or leave it now £3000 offer.

Gonna try a few more local companys rather than national ones.

Bearing in mind this is roughly

4 windows. all tilt and turn. all 1200mm high. two at 1500mm wide and one at 1200mm wide and another smaller one at 1000mm wide.

brown on outside. white on inside
