Worth doing if you got a Turbo. There is a place that will remap ypur car and it stays 'tuned' for a couple of hours then reverts back to normal so you can see if it's worth shelling out for.

Do not know the name of company though.

problems with remaping ur ecu is if u get a ready made map is u dont get ur car done correctly
each car is done seperately due to the way the engine responds

all maps are built based on standard setups however are catered for modied engines as well..

done an ace3 job on my mates ST3

or if you wanna try DIY look up megasquirt..

MegaSquirt isnt as hard as it seems

ya looking at £150 max for all the kit.. (a fraction of what you pay for a top end system) and it will do all you need for your car from boost nos traction control and launching..

and u can map as you go, ajust the map as u drive..

plus you learn about the ecu and how mapping works in the process..

even if you dont go that way well worth the read
