Has anyone got an idea on what is the right measure of weight the Jewellers are surpposed to use. Some say 31.1 grams to an ounce others say 28 grams to an ounce. Are they supposed to use the troy system or what.

According to wikipedia gold, silver and platinum is measured in troy weight, and only troy weight: Troy weight - Wikipedia, the free encyclopedia
In that case HPJ Jewellers don't use troy ounce to measure silver & gold they measure using avoir ounce which is used to measure food. Looks like I just got done, how can they get away with this.
