To get both the Internet and the Dreambox to stay connected, I had to change the box's settings to DHCP. I then went to my Router's DHCP Client List and... it's there! @ 192.168.2.3 The problem I'm having now is connecting this via FlashFXP. Also, when I go to the download roms and keyfiles section of the MrDude image and try update, it just doesn't update (progress bar stays @ 0) as if it isn't somehow connected to the Internet? I've pinged it from my laptop and I'm getting an immediate response. |

So in DCC, 'This Computer' is 192.168.2.3, and when I go to my DHCP Client List on my router, dm500 shows up as 192.168.2.3 also. When I put that same IP in to the 'Dreambox' part of DCC I get the following error when I hit Reconnect... Error 10057 in function Send Socket is not connected. What does this mean? Am I doing it right? |

Make sure you typed the file name correctly and that you have permission to access the folder. Details: A connection with the server could not be established. When I said I pinged it earlier, I've got a feeling it just pinged the laptop... from the laptop! Because now they're bridged and have the same IPs, when i typed ping 192.168.2.3 it seemed to do it from the laptop (which is also 192.168.2.3). But when I tried it from the computer upstairs it said request timed out!? |
