Feedback Score: 0 reviews | cannot connect calling for help Dear All I am trying to update my dbox using filezilla. I have input all the info needed account root dreambox dreambox (got my ip address of the box) Im using dw2.1, when I click connect it says connection astablished waiting for hello from box. Then after a short time it says timed out, server something??? Has anyone got an ideas why it wont work please or is there another ftp client I can use to make a connection. Feedback Score: 0 reviews | Re: cannot connect What operating system are you using? (XP , Vista) With XP you go to Network Connections and right click the Local Area Connection you are using. Stay on the first tab (General) and in the middle section look for TCP/IP. Click on Properties and set a manual IP address (second option - "Use the following IP address") but has to be in the same range as your current IP. To find out your current IP, go to a command prompt and type the word: ipconfig <Enter> Hope this helps

Feedback Score: 0 reviews | Re: cannot connect hi mate when you set ip on your pc first check the dbox ip. and change the last digit according to your dbox ip one less or one up like if 2 the 1 or 3 at last. and check for u r dbox go to setting and network. u will see ur d box ip theire. |
