Just bought a di1000. When you power it up on the display it says pace and on the tv screen it says software update. It is stuck on this and doesn't do anything. Am I doing something wrong?

Check the coax is ok.
Also, is tb cut on it before you put it on your feed?

the 1000 series does tend to be slow just leave it in the stream foer a while but as stated make sure the feed is ok and u are not disabled in the cab

Turns out to be prob on network. Network ok now and update went fine. I then unplugged and took over to pc to run libdebug but just came up comms fail. Now when I re-connect to tv it says pace on display as b4 but shows absolutely nothing on TV.

What have I done peeps? Have I fooked it?

Scart is ok. It is the net id I am trying to change.

have u tried the funcard method to reset net id

This is all new to me m8. I've always had dreamboxes. What is the funcard method?

Also, should I be worried that the box is not outputting anything to the tv?

no the box will not put anything to tv coz there is no net id you need to download net id setter and use your progger software to write a funcard so that it boots your box up with net id set
