Hi,
I have a DDigital box and it was working fine until today when all the channels otehr than Freeview stopped working.
I have searched around these forums but can't see anything on DDigital.... I also checked the BigMaq toolbar but there doesn't seem to be any new files or keys..... I done a channel scan and more channels were picked up but still can't receive any channels other than normal freeview.
I am pretty new to all of this so apologies if i'm missing something obvious here.
Any help would be very much appreciated.
Thanks,
John.

I flashed a friends DDigital box, and it is working fine. The firmware should be 4/12/2008 version. I also had trouble loading the firmware at the start. The trick is to switch off the box, load the firmware in the loader, and start the download, at the same time switch on the box. it should start updating until it says download complete.
hope this helps.

I had problems with this latest fix too, i.e. no emu option, therefore unscrambled channels only
However the mistake I think I made was I did a factory reset (as is usually reccomended) before flashing new fix, therefore by default emu is off. For some reason this fix does not give an option to enable emu
So what you have to do is flash again with old firmware (I used 7.jun.07) turn your box on do the menu 2580 and make sure it is enabled. Then flash the new firmware and all should be well.
ps. it still says 03.08 date when you check your version on box don't worry, prob due to this being an emergency fix based on previous release, of course I may be talking bollo on that one.

Hi blackmail, I would think any old firmware would do, eg. the toolbar is 14 april
Anything that reverts the box to a condition where you can enable the emu.
Must be an oversight on this fix (unless it's for legal reasons)
Good luck
