Hello Peeps

Just managed to flash gavs image using the serial cable as i managed to screw the first flash via ftp. When it loads windows vista logo appears and no channels can be found. After i scanned all channels now named teleport 1. 2. 3. etc

Any ideas on how to get channels working?

Im running a all uk scan with fast mode turned off
Currently found 2 channels with from the 176/376 transponders
Will it find all channels when it finishes?

I would suggest you reflash with the new lakys-sylas image as that scans perfectly however due to your post count your access will be limited.

The slow scan should find all the channels........if it doesn't........

Try this........

press the blue button and set your location..........reboot the box

press dbox > service > servicescan

set to scan for TV and Radio

turn fast scan on

press red to save settings

then blue to scan

Should take around four minutes to scan circa 34 transponders and find approx 300 TV channels.

It picked up 300 odd channels, however when i try and select a channel i still get the teleport channel and the message error channel not availble.

am i missing something?

did you ftp your key folder contents from your old image?

I now can watch the free channels BBC, ITV etc

But no sky sports, sky movies etc.....

Im guessing its my keys that are the problem

Its an fta image you have to ftp usual files (magic files) across to relevent folder.

Pretty certain its fta as most images are fta now, if you have ftp`d keys then you still eed to ftp the roms, I think it says on the pdf that comes with the image.

Right i have just reflashed the box with new laky-sylas FTA image
Fresh image
All i have done is changed my location
Scanned for channels
Found some
Can view some free channels
But no joy with any sky sports, movies etc

The only file i have from the previous image are; services.xml and bouquets.xml

Not sure these will help my situation, where can i get the roms and keys from
