HI i am trying to put the soft mod into my mates wii i have got the homebrew channel installed but a cant install the backup channel. every time i run from the buttons in homebrew is eather comes up error or failed. could someone tell me how to delete this ios249 thing please. Thanks in advance

Running the dvdx wad again should give you the option to uninstall it.

where is the divx wad is it already on the sd root?

AnyTitle Deleter would uninstall it for u m8 or find dvdx and use that to uninstall it, or even the original .wad file (if thats what u used) in wad manager
