Feedback Score: 0 reviews | Best Media for Backup Wii Games Guys I was just wondering about what is the best media to get for backups? I am used to using Taiyo Yuden +r for films, would they be OK for Wii backups? What about dual layer disks what is the best brand for them? p.s. Do NTSC backup games work in PAL chipped Wii? Is it only the update you have to worry about in case of a brick? I have been reading up but am n00b with Wii scene Cheers |

Some NTSC games will work in PAL boxes but as you said you've got to be careful about the updates. h**p://wiki.gbatemp.net/wiki/index.php/Wii_Region_Patcher_Compatibility_List:_PAL | |

Feedback Score: 0 reviews | Re: Best Media for Backup Wii Games I got my Wii for Xmas for the kids, and fitted a WiiKey2. I have been writing games no problems to +r disks, no band in particular. I usually have 100 disk tubs, but due to not having many left I decided to impulse buy just so that I can burn them. So far I have tried at 4X ASDA DVD+r - No problem Woolworths DVD+r (I know ... but they were cheap LOL) - No problem Datasafe DVD+r - No problem All media was rated at 8x, and I have burned over 40 disks without a failure. Im using a DVD RAM GSA-H55N drive bought for £16. After reading here I think I will bulk buy the ritek media, but at this point in time I have no issues with the above. |
