I am getting ready to have a dish installed for freesat, I would like to have the connection in my front room match up with the existing TV and cable connections.

I have the parts for it, but I have no idea how to cut the hole for the patress etc. I dont suppose anyone can give me any tips?

Mark the area where the patress is going to fit on the wall. Get yourself a large diameter masonry drill bit and drill as many holes as you can in the area you've marked out as close together as possible to the correct depth. Then use a cold chisel and decent weight hammer to clear out your recess. Might want to choose a time when it wont upset the neighbours as it's a noisey job lol.
