    Big Flash Tomorrow

    Flashing for the first time tomorrow need advice as to where to plug sata cable.

    is it better to open up pc and plug straight in to sata card or can i just use port
    at back of pc. is there a difference ? some say yes and some say no !

    You have SATA ports on the back of your PC?

    Makes sense I suppose due to external SATA drives.

    What drive are you modding?

    Samsung / Benq? - You must use the Primary port as iPrep configures MTKFlash/Dosflash for this port.

    Hitachi? - Id still use primary port if using Slax.

    Luckily my mobo has compatible SATA onboard

    I thinkk eSATA ports are physically different to SATA ports.
