ok guys i have a atmeg163 card if i read the flash file could i use it to program my other card for my other box or will it stuff the card im using at the mo ??????

Why would you want to read it ?

Just download the flash from the relevant post and make a new one ?

well thats the prob m8 i put the hex in and it updates but blank channels so i thought if i could read the flash and save it then i could put it on my other card but dont want to bugger my working card u with me lol

I you are simply reading the card then no you should not effect it in any way

How do you know it updates. Has your card paired up, check i em. if paired then you`re not leavig it long enough.
As long as you save your exteep for your box details or you already got them then you`r safe. Best bet download flash and with your exteep write up card.

thanks m8 just read and saved the hex
@mastichick on my other amega card sum1 flashed it for me but didnt want to give me the hex
ive tryed to dl the hex myself but it wont work but my other card updates no probs so i just flashed the hex from card1 (working card ) to card 2 so far it hasnt au yet

Hi

Read from the card and save your flash and exteep and go from there or before you do that check in EM and check card status to see if card is pairing, will say ok if paired to give you an indication bk and ird is correct. Report back on what it says in EM.

ok done that card status is ok looking through the menu it said
smartcard serial code waiting
lockstatus locked

Hi

Good news if card status ok means bk and ird are correct. Read the card flash first then exteep if you aint done it already. Erase card couple of times load yor exteep back in proggy and the latest atmega flash for your area and write back to card this time exteep first then flash.
