I have 2 msn email accounts and both seem not to be allowing me to receive certain emails, such as when you register at a forum and you receive an email with a link to activate your account.

Its most annoying and I feel like im missing out on loads of important emails. How do I rectify this??

i had a problem recieving and sending email using my hotmail account for a while today and yesterday i noticed msn wasnt logging on for a while, they may be just upgrading their services, but first i would check in your junk folder as some mails get directed straight in there..

Yeah Iv looked and the mails just never get to my account.

check your mail account is workin, try sending yourself an email to your msn mail from another mail account to check it works. On some forums when you join and the send you a activation mail it could take up to 24 hours, also go back to the forum u joined and recheck you put your mail address in correctly or the actual forum to see if msn mail addresses are allowed for joining ...

hotmail has some stupid anti spam measures in place which can just erase emails completely so you dont know you've missed them and the sender isnt informed they havent been received. its been well documented on the register. unfortunately there is nothing you can do about it

I had lots of probs with Hotmail which all dissapeared when I switched to Google's GMail

It's a much better service IMO and it's also free.

I only use Hotmail for Messenger now lol

many forums wont let you register with free e-mail accounts like hotmail, yahoo etc etc as said above the e-mail service providers automatically filter them out and you never get them.

i think this site DW will not alow you to register with some e-mail addresses think i read summat the other week

hotmail has been fine for me. Yeah if i use it 2 signup to some forums it chucks unknown emails into junk but doesnt worry me i just put them on good li7t
