I had the rod on 360(which i fixed with new heat sick compound and the 3 penny trick) and when i plugged it in i heard a popping noise and all is dead.I got another xbox psu and all his well but i want to fix the psu unit.Has anybody got any clue to what to look for?

sounds like you may have shorted something when doing the compound/penny's

plugging in another psu may cause it to pop aswell.

id open her up and check for blobs of compound on the motherboard

well i have checked everything and double checked everything seems ok except the brick psu.The other psu is working fine.Now to try and fix the other psu.
Has anybody repaired one of these before or know of a cct diagram of one
