ethical question, what would you do

just over 3months ago i ordered a 4 sdhc card from a big online retailer. After the 21 days and no arrival of the product they sent me another one. This morning out of the blue the missing one arrived in the normal post, no record of delivery ie signing etc just in with the normal post. Now im in a bit of a fix, do i keep quiet or do i contact them and let them know its FINALLY arrived (albiet very late in the day). what would you do? If it had been a small company i wouldnt have thought twice about contacting them but as this company is very large im having second thoughts...........

If it was me I would put it to one side and leave it , if they realise their mistake and ask for it give it back to them if they don't realise their mistake than its their own fault for not getting their act togather. You are not stealing it you are just waiting for them to call and collect.

the thing was postmarked sept 25 so it has taken a life time to get here,
@ donnie if it was a ebayer or a small company that could struggle with things like this then i wouldnt keep it, but its a big company so i wont lose sleep over it.
Im gona put it aside for now and chew over my options, if they contact me which i doubt then i will return it, its wasnt recorded so im 100% sure it been deemed as lost.

I wouldn't lose any sleep over it. If you do contact them, you then have the hassle of putting it back in the post. After all the hassle you had in the first place, would just leave it for a while, as suggested above, and see if they contact you.

    I agree with most here.
I would keep it too. It's your reward for being patient.
And if you still feel really guilty, PM me and I'll give you my address so you can send it to me lol

If it were me i would keep it,could'nt have cost more than £20.To send it back would be £2ish plus your time and inconvenience, not worth the hassle,or the worry.
