I wouldn't take it to an unlock shop yet m8.. The N97 is "SL3". There is only one box on the market that will detect the new simlock, and then stop.. All of the other boxes will "try". This will leave you with no network coverage at all.. ATM Nokia service centres are having to return all of these handsets back to base.
Even the DM3 boys haven't sussed SL3 yet. They were godlike for years, and were unlocking BB5's before anybody else (apart from the n70's, etc) |
