    backups

    hiya

i wondering if some 1 can help me.

i have a stand alone computer standard set up with windows xp

what am looking to do is back up files each day quickly and securely

i have a ton of customers files that i want to take off site.

i was thinking of having an external usb or net work drive

and mirroring this drive to the one in the computer

whats are the pros and cons to this

and has any1 got any suggestions?

if this is the best way how would i go about setting this up?

    thanks mo

I use this free program from Microsoft:

    http://www.microsoft.com/windowsxp/u...o/synctoy.mspx

I sync to a external USB drive to the machine its connected to and also via a UNC path name for another machine on my network.

Read up on it; its really good.
