Scan it in safe mode but don't forget to disable system restore as it can be hidden in there still. Also make sure your antivirus is up to date and it may be worth installing Sybot and imunising your system.

i use nod 32 but also i run xoftspy se it detects everything and removes it even out of your windows restore directory very good!!!!the best place to download is .www.thepiratebay.org you need to have a torrent client installed.





what is the virus actually doing to your pc? go to the mcafee website, and see if the virus is on the site.
if the problems take more then a day fixing, backup and wipe the harddisk!
and get a better virus scanner next time....saves time, and the parcetomol tablets from my personal experience lol
you can backup using cmd, to another harddisk. If your always getting viruses like these, buy a cheap 20gb harddisk, just for the OS, and whenever your get problems, just wipe the harddisk which had the OS installed on it, no need for backing up.
