hi i have a dreambox 500-c but can't get the exact code to work with the box?? i need to get into the menu.

the remote have is one for all urc-7555

Don't have this remote myself, but haven't had any probs with urc 8040 with my 600 code 1237 I do have a urc 7562 which I did need to download an updated code I think, not sure if your model has this option!

After looking up your model it does state:-

Learning function allows you to easely add
any function of your original remote.

and if that doesn't work then:-

any idea where you downloaded the code for the 7562 from cant seem to find a code for a dreambox anywhere

This is a wav, I played this through my laptop (sounds like an old modem connecting) and laid the remote on the speaker with the small hole on the back of the remote directly over the speaker. Did take a couple of attempts to line up properly
