On the recommendation of the folks here I downloaded this program to sort out my bouquets.

It connected fine to my box, downloaded the services and bouquets files.

I dragged all the Tv Services into the "TV User Bouquet details box" and arranged them under the default heading of "Favourites (TV)". This went fine.

I then FTPed the files back to my Dreambox. But when I press the TV button and then the Blue one to go to bouquets the Favourites (TV) bouquet is empty. Similarly when I go into Settings and try to edit the Favourites (TV) bouquet it is empty.

The thing is the files did transfer fine as when I transferred them back from the box again to the computer they showed up exactly as I had set them up with all the channels in the order I want under the TV User Bouquet Details: Favourites (TV) section.

I can't work out what's going wrong, if anyone has any ideas please let me know, its very infuriating!

On the box, using the remote, add a channel to the favorites. I think you go to the channel, press MENU then add to favorites.

Then ftp the channels from the box to dreamboxedit and hunt around for the channels that you made a favorite. This will be the location where you need to put the rest of the channels.

OR

Create a separate bouquet under TV User Bouquets called Favorites and transfer the listing in there.

I tried doing both options.

When I added a few channels to favourites and opened using the program they did not show up, it is still listing favourites as the bigger list I created earlier.

I created a seperate bouquet under another name with the same chanels but this does not show up on the box either when plugged into the TV.

Any more ideas would be much apprecited.

Try using the built in menus to create the bouquets and add channels.

after sending the files to the box are you clicking the
Reload Settings on Dreambox
button ?
or there is a menu option on the blue menu for it.

Thanks for all the help guys. I still couldn't get it to work so i just did it by hand with the remote. Took about 45 minutes but it's done!

Try backing them up with DBE now.

I just ftp to /var/tuxbox/config and copy the whole enigma folder to my PC.
