Basic Info
I am new to all of this, and as my card has recently stopped working I have been looking around for some info. The more I read the more i do not understand. Is there anyone out there that can explain the basics (or point me to a faq section), eg how do I identify the type of card I have, what is the diff types of cards for ie silve gold fun cards etc, what type of programmer do i need for updating my card and any other info you think may be useful.
I have a nokia box and my card is red with two chips mounted on it. It stopped working on Thursday and even after i put in the feb codes it comes on for a few seconds then a black screen appears for 20 mins or so and the it comes back on again for a few seconds and so on.
Thanks in advance.

Hi Madjock from Yorkshire??
You got a pcb card there not a wafer but works just the same. It sounds as if your mk01 and ppua is invalid or you are running an out of date RU hex on it.
You could try here for further info
http://odin.prohosting.com/heroes1/
PS: the downloadds section has now opened again. Find it at the bottom of the main page. There youu will find help files, faq's etc.

Get yourself an elvis and some gold cards then there are plenty of tutorials around on how to use it or just ask us when you get it

madjock, visit http://wafercards-i-am.com/ and mention 'Digital World' to get 5% discount.

I cant fault the recommended elvis from what I have read about it (although I have never used one myself). If you are on a low budget then you could get an FX programmer from www.maxking.com. They also sell goldies at £5 each plus next day delivery if you order over the net using credit card.
