its not them i know you jest but id take them over bates anyday of the week, hell id take the local butcher over bates.
its dragging on and its pissing the leeds fans off but those in the know (mainly lust members) say we are going to be very very very happy (x3) with who they are.
we'll spend reasonable as we're championship just enough to get us up (we have 3 or 4 already / in not out for a change) and then when we get promoted the money will be spent hopefully.
im not expecting a 1 or 2 year success to even get to the prem tbh but i can see once we are back that we wont be a lower table team and will be a force.
Papa smurf has steadied the ship somewhat but Leeds need an injection a ca$h to get them back into the top tier and it's probably due time for Bates to move on, who these investors are is shrouded in secrecy and I can understand Leeds fans frustration.
Our resisent Leeds supporting admin on redcafe is already getting giddybut why not it's been a long time out of the top league for Leeds and perhaps now the fans and the club see a way back. That disastrous Champions league risk has a lot to answer for.
Now over to our financial cock and balls up
We are set to float some shares on the New York stock market with the hopes of raising $100 million (£64 million) to clear some of our remaining debt, obviously this seems like good news and anything that loosens the Glaziers grip on the club I welcome with open arms. I am slightly concerned as the Glaziers have until now been very reluctant release any shares and wonder if our situation has deepened more forcing them into floating on the market to raise funds. :-/

@ Basil
Totally agree mt Rooney was garbage but I thought Young was far from our worst player in that tournament, look no further than your very own Milner for the ultimate Mr Gash Euro 2012 mind you at least he didnt miss a peno
ps get well soon
I remember those times Basil2, I also remember when going to Elland Rd by coach the police used to hold up the coaches just off the motorway to take in under escort. The only trouble was that it was there that the Leeds fans would put all the windows in while they had a sitting target.
Once one of the richest clubs in the world has now spiralled in to huge debts. Thanks to the Glazers who know's what the future holds for Manchester United.
