Question When you use a generated mac??

When you use mac generator and it gives you a list of macs that work how do you then use those macs?? I was told just use any of them and force want ever config i want on them..

However i just keep getting nowhere do i need to leave each one i try a long time to make connection???

Been trying this for ages now even been net stumbling but not sure which macs are for what as my mate was in a hurry so we just drove round with netstumbler running..

Generating macs is simply a case of taking an existing working mac and adding 1 to the last byte until you find a working address, most macs it will produce are useless, just keep trying.

I do it manually (adding a value of 1 to the last byte) and i usually get a working mac after about 5 tries.

The macs you got with Netstumbler should be fine aslong as they are supplied by the same provider but on a different UBR.

Net Stumbler will only pick up the MAC Addresses of wireless routers, not cable modems.
To get a MAC wirelessly from a cable modem you need to connect to the network, and view the status page on http://192.168.100.1 then pull the HFC MAC from there.

    Is your base mac genuine?
If the mac address that your trying to get other macs from is wrong then it'll never work, where did you get the mac?
