Hi all,

right got a problem with my brothers box, today did his card for him and he was on about not getting vod.. so thought id take a look at his box to see how easy it was to get talk back back running... big mistake..!!!
On the underside of the circuit board there was two blue wires.. going to where they normally go to.... i cut these wires and booted the box... it displayed pace... flashed the talkback light.. then rebooted to pace agiain.. and at no time displayed any sort of activity on the tv screen.

So i thought opps.... so resoldered the wires together, but in the process the fell off the bottom of the board... i then resoldered them to where i thought they went..(going from the solder marks on the circuit) but seems i was wrong...!! The blue wires are where they should of been so i think from looking on here, and the red lines are where i put them.



went to boot the box and it just showed PACE and again did nothing else, cant get into em menu, cant 4321 etc... cant do nothing... power button dont even work...!!

Any ideas peeps... coz i really like my 2110c i got working and dont wanna give it away for a old 1000 lol..

no i didnt m8y, i cut the wires... put it on, and it didnt do nothing.... so just put them back to where i thought they went. the tuner has had a leg taken off a chip totally so cant get tb back on easy anyway now.. only noticed today

Why did you even bother to try and get VOD back, should have just said it won't work as that is the safest.

know that now.... any idea on a fix ?
