nope,and i wouldnt expect anything anytime soon,although u can play supa rubadub and gripshift but there just lame arcade game type thingys

I dont think you will be able to use disks for a while now. A ISO loader is more likely to be released.

there is no way to play ps3 backups yet

theres no point in modchips. A iso loader is better. It will cost to much to burn disks

a chip isnt useless,and since the majority of ps3 games so far would happily fit onto dvd9(hell theres a fair few that would fit on dvd5),a chip just needs to be able to process images from disc no matter what the media

ive heard rumours of a may the 12th release for a loader of desriptions but i would expect much from it

But the size of the data is going to go up. With so much waiting there to be used its stupid not to

it wont be used for ingame content tho,itll just be hd cutscenes and audio
