my box is softmodded and i have got the latest media center i would like to know if i can record live tv to my xbox hd?

depends on the source? if it's a Dbox/Dreambox u can use a script in Xbmc to stream and record. I tried the Dreambox script today it records but you have to tell it how many MBs to store ... lol ... it also cuts the picture off while it records. Plays back the file brilliantly on xbox but i couldn't get them working on my pc ;( Xbox is a bit iffy streaming off Dreambox but worked fine for Dbox2 ...
