totally agree, its getting to the stage where people cant or wont say anything for fear of being branded racist.
there is a whole industry in govenment at all levels, from westminster to your own parish council, where the "PC brigade" live and work and bring this to everybodys attention, with glee

to be honest though the media are as bad as the pc brigade, i bet sky news/news24 will have reported this "news" item 100's of times today fueling those that think what was said is an outrage.

Many sections of the media, particularly broadcast, are the PC brigade. It seems to be common for them not to address the isssues of the story, but to report the reaction of those who take offence, who usually happen to be of a certain political persuasion.
