Graphic Corruption
Hey folks, I've got a pretty nasty problem with my main computer. After about ten minutes, I'll start noticing graphic corruption, such as when I scroll down in a browser, I'll see vertical red lines appearing, like something from the Matrix
After this, my computer will usually crash and I'll have to restart, but the corruption sets in a lot quicker and crashes again.
I've looked on the nVidia website, and it seems I've already got the latest WinXP drivers. I've left my computer running for about 72 hours now because I was downloading a large torrent, and I'm worried I might have caused some over-heating on my system. Would that be an issue or am I being daft?
System Specs:
Mobo: nForce 4 Ultra sk939
Processor: AMD 64 sk939 2500 (2.2ghz)
RAM: 1.5GB DDR400
Graphics: GeForce 7600 GT
OS: Windows XP Pro SP2
DirectX 9.0c
Thanks for your time

Check to see if the fan on the graphics card is actually working.
You could also try reinstalling the graphics drivers again but make sure you uninstall the old ones first.
