Does anyone know what errors 11 12 and 16 mean on a telewest box?

11=unable to tune to last frequency
12=unable to tune to last nit
16=unable to hard coded pre-set frequency.

this is on a pace di 4000

these are not error codes but are indicating that the stb is not set up on the network you are installing it in
they appear if the network id is set to 09999 or not the correct one for your area

sounds like that to me davidh, i thought he was updateing a box without the correct frequencys etc, but he only asked for the meanings.

can the pace di 4000t be updated using libdebug ie does it have an rs232 port and can the freq be changed in the engineers menu.

its ok boys ive had a dig in the cable section and found the answer (it doesnt)
Buy the way the reason i ask is there is one being sold on ebay listed as faulty because of these errors might go very cheep if anyone is intrested but u will have to be quick

you pay the money, you take the risk, provideing its cheap enough. it might be worthwhile just for the tuner
