12th November 2006, 14:29 #2 how do u know they are virgin boxes and not just very new?
Please dont tell me you actually believe what a trader said? some of the biggest con men around!
I believe 99% of the people on this board would share if they knew so im guessing no1 knows.

13th November 2006, 00:50 #4 my mate works for nthell and sells brand new sammy's to a guy for £30 a time and these are brand new i have had one and give him it back told him they could not be done , but obviously they can if someone is paying £30 a go and he has sold him a fair few , cards are still sealed too

13th November 2006, 02:43 #5 Its very easy to do them - just not cost effective for the majority of people !
All you require is a surface mount bga rework station capable of removing/replacing the flash device then you can clone just like any other box !

13th November 2006, 09:02 #6 Yeah, but if you get the original card with them, then you can just crack the card, and get the codes that way. Or that is the way I do them. Dont think there is another way at the moment.

you can only do that if the card has been paired with the box, we are talking about virgin boxes that haven't taken a hit so the details on the card are wrong/fake.

13th November 2006, 11:32 #8 maybe the trader works for nthell or knows an engineer and is getting the virgins to take a hit first ...then reporting a no hit or a fault with the unit ....

Could well be correct mate as there have been a few posts where a 'friend' has arranged for a hit on a virgin box. What amazes me if this is/were true is that I was under the impression that n@l were tightening up on all aspects of control on these boxes, if the above is true then it really shows what a lapse system they run.

19th November 2006, 18:44 #10 2110c Help
Hi got hold of a 2110c and its not virgin so glitched card got correct IRD BK well think they are they look good and ird matches with eng menu and barcode on back the 1045***** but like a twit I didnt save the original image on card so what i need to know does the image ive written to the card need the same cam id as the original image had? Cos its coming up unsubscribed and in eng menu card status says please wait and has been like this for a good 15 minutes in red. If this is the case then theres no way of getting original cam id now is there.
